PURPOSE
AND HISTORY OF
THE PANEL PUSHER©
The Old Way
of pushing panels to separate floor areas in convention centers,
exhibit halls, civic centers, ball rooms and meeting rooms was to
manually push panels from one end of the building to the opposite
wall. Sometimes equipment like utility carts, personnel carriers,
and forklifts were used. These efforts and manual methods can
result in personal injury and Workman’s Comp claims. Just as
important, damage to panels, damage to astrogals, and interior
failure in panels cause serious loss of sound control. Repairing
and replacing damaged panels can cost thousands of dollars, lost
revenue, and loss of customers returning for bookings.
The Panel Pusher©
was specially designed and manufactured to push single panels the
New Way by safely pushing a number of panels in a ‘train’
across convention floors at a controlled speed, reducing time and
personnel needed for the entire operation.
